Join our outreach efforts
Become a beacon of hope and compassion in our community. Learn how you can make a tangible difference in the lives of those most in need through our active ministry.
Who makes a great volunteer?
We are seeking individuals with a heart moved by compassion for the marginalized. If you feel called to serve our homeless brethren, imprisoned population, or sick and hospitalized, you possess the qualities we cherish in our volunteers.
Compassionate hearts
Those who feel a deep empathy for the vulnerable and marginalized in our society.
Willing to serve
Individuals eager to engage in active ministry and extend love to those in need.
Seeking connection
People looking to form meaningful connections and make a profound impact through encounters of love.
The impact of your help
Your involvement brings more than just aid; it brings love, dignity, and a sense of belonging to those who often feel forgotten. Every act of kindness creates ripples of positive change.
Serving our homeless brethren
Participate in our community BBQs and "Church on the Street" events. Help assemble or distribute blessing backpacks, and engage in encounters of love and prayer. Your presence is the most profound gift.
Ministering to the imprisoned
You can write letters to uplift spirits, get on a visitation list to provide human connection, or send books to foster education and hope. Your correspondence brings light to confined spaces.
Comforting the sick and hospitalized
Accompany us on visits to brighten someone's day with flowers or self-care gifts. The genuine encounters of love and compassion are what truly make a difference, not just the items donated.
Why volunteer with us?
Unlike many organizations, we actively seek out those in need rather than waiting for them to come to us. As contemplative women who are as Sisters engaged in active ministry, we bring direct care and personal connection to the most vulnerable, offering a truly unique and rewarding volunteer experience.
